Calvary Chapel Columbia

Here at Calvary Chapel, we consider watching and teaching your children a privilege and an opportunity to serve the Lord. We value it above all else. The nursery and Sunday School is one of the most important ministries there is, for behind our doors the spirit of precious lambs is being nurtured and good seeds are being planted. As a result we can expect to see our children burst forth into dedicated and willing servants for the kingdom of God, grounded in the word and motivated by love.

We provide a quality nursery for infants and toddlers up to age 2. For ages 3-12, we offer a childrenś ministry that is grounded in the word and offers an atmosphere that is peaceful and teaches them at a level they can understand. We offer a Nursing Motherś room in the rear of the sanctuary for infant babies.

The Childrenś Ministry exists for the purpose of building up of our children in their walk with Jesus and reaching the children in the Columbia area. The ministry can be a tremendously exciting opportunity when thought of caring enough for a group of children to help bring them into a relationship with Jesus at a young age.

Our policy requires that a parent or guardian sign in/out all children.

Volunteers

Our childrenś ministry here at Calvary Chapel Columbia would not exist without the dedicated volunteers who serve each week. Parents are encouraged to be involved in childrenś ministry. There is always a need for new volunteers.

Qualifications for our Volunteer team include:

• Born Again Believer

• Willing heart and desire to serve Jesus

• For the Toddlerś class, you must be at least 15 years of age

• Read our Sunday School Teachers Manual for Teachers

• Observe other teachers for a season
